The Health Hutt has got an exciting new product line called NaturaNectar. These products contain the most potent antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antifungal properties in the world! NaturaNectar prides itself to have brought to the United States a truly precious product from the exotic beehives found only in Brazil!

  Bee Propolis? What’s that?

Bee Propolis is the natural defense of the beehive. Bees make propolis from sap of various plants. They know where to get the best varieties for maximum protection of their habitat, the beehive. Bees use propolis to seal every possible crack or opening in the beehive preventing threats to the health of their homes.

Did you know that the inner-hive is the most sterile natural environment found in our planet? That’s right! And bee propolis plays a major role acting as the hive protective shield. It is the immune system of the beehive and it can support yours!

Is propolis new?

No way! Millenia civilizations like the ancient Egyptians, Greeks, Romans-to mention a few-used propolis. That’s the mission of NaturaNectar- to spread the word on the benefits of propolis.

Why are NaturaNectar propolis products so special?

NaturaNectar’s Green Extraction, for example, uses no harsh chemicals with high yield of the essential natural compounds; eliminating impurities and beeswax for safer use. Also, the quality and standardization of extracts is extensive! It can take up to 10kg of raw propolis to produce only 1 kg of their exclusive and standardized extracts.

NaturaNectar uses only 100% premium Brazilian propolis (about 85% of world’s propolis is from China.)

What Are Digestive Enzymes?

  1. What Are Digestive Enzymes? Why are they Important?

Do you ever feel gassy and bloated after meals? Are you experiencing fatigue, constipation, or weight gain? Do you ever have the sensation of food just sitting in your stomach? If so, you might have digestive enzyme problems.

Enzymes are incredibly efficient and highly specific biological catalysts (a substance that causes a chemical reaction to happen more quickly.)

In other words, digestive enzymes are there to break down our food into nutrients so that our body can absorb them! Furthermore, If we don’t have enough digestive enzymes, we can’t break down our food. This means even though we might be eating well, we aren’t necessarily absorbing all that good nutrition.

According to  A deficiency in enzymes can mean trouble so we need to keep their number high.

There are three types of enzymes needed to break down food: Amylase (breakdown of starch), Protease (breakdown of proteins), and Lipase (breakdown of fats.)

2. What Would Cause Enzymes to Stop Working?

There are many different reasons as to why your digestive enzymes stop working. According to, diseases may prevent proper digestive enzyme production. These include: Pancreatic problems, including cystic fibrosis, pancreatic cancer, and acute or chronic pancreatitis. Also, Brush border dysfunction, the most severe is long standing Celiac disease, where the brush border is flattened or destroyed. Other diseases like Crohn’s can also cause severe problems.

However, many people struggle with digestive issues even in the absence of any disease. The most common reason for digestive enzyme issues is chronic stress. Other reasons include: Inflammation caused by food allergies, lack of stomach acid, and aging.

3. What Digestive Enzyme Supplements Are Out There?

There are supplements out there called Prebiotics and Probiotics. Probiotics are the beneficial bacteria we need to properly digest food. Prebiotics are responsible for feeding that good bacteria so it can thrive and continue to grow. These are excellent ways to help your digestive enzymes. There are also enzymes found in fruit such as Bromelain. This enzyme is found in pineapple juice and in the pineapple stem. Another is Papain-which is an enzyme from Papaya.
