Natural Grocery
Our Grocery department is built around one simple idea: food should be as close to its natural state as possible. That means you’ll find shelves stocked with high-quality, thoughtfully sourced products free from artificial additives, preservatives, and synthetic ingredients.
We carry a full range of everyday essentials. Find everything from pantry staples like grains, pasta, sauces, and canned goods to snacks, baking ingredients, and beverages. Our selection also covers refrigerated and frozen foods, including dairy, meats, and a wide variety of plant-based and vegan options.
What truly sets our grocery department apart is the diversity of choices for different lifestyles and dietary needs. Whether you’re avoiding allergens or shopping organic, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, paleo, or keto, you’ll find clearly labeled options throughout the store. We also prioritize products with trusted certifications such as Non-GMO, Fair Trade, and Certified Humane, so you can shop with confidence.
Whenever possible, we love to highlight local and regional brands so you can support Michigan producers and discover products made right here in our community.
Produce
Our produce department is built around a strong commitment to organic. Nearly everything you’ll find here is certified organic, with only a few carefully chosen exceptions. It’s one of the ways we help you shop with confidence and feel good about the food you’re bringing home.
We also take pride in making the most of our space. Even though our stores are smaller, we work hard to offer as much variety as possible. You’ll find a thoughtful mix of everyday essentials along with seasonal items and unique finds that keep things fresh and interesting.
When the season allows, we bring in produce from local farms like Green Wagon Farm and Blackbird Farm. Sourcing locally helps support nearby growers and gives you access to produce that is fresh, flavorful, and grown close to home.
You’ll also see these same ingredients used throughout our store, especially in our deli, where fresh produce is an essential part of the meals we prepare each day.
Bulk Foods
Our Bulk Foods department is a great place to find everyday ingredients at a better value. By offering many items in bulk, we’re able to keep pricing competitive while still focusing on quality.
You’ll find a wide variety of staples here, including grains, beans, flours, nuts, seeds, dried fruit, herbs, spices, teas, and even organic candy. It’s a well-rounded selection that covers both everyday cooking and those harder-to-find ingredients that make recipes come together.
While not all items are available in self-serve bins, we offer flexible quantities on many bulk products and are happy to help you find what you need. If you’re looking for something specific or need a larger amount, our team can often special order it for you.
We also support lower-waste shopping whenever possible. You’re welcome to bring your own containers, and our staff can help guide you through the process.
dietary supplements
Our Dietary Supplements department is designed to support a wide range of health and wellness goals, with a carefully chosen selection of products you can trust.
You’ll find options that support everyday needs like immune health, digestion, energy, sleep, and stress, along with more targeted support for areas such as heart health, joint comfort, cognitive function, and hormonal balance. We carry a full range of vitamins, minerals, herbs, probiotics, protein powders, and other specialized formulas to help you build a routine that works for you.

Natural Hair & Body Care
What you put on your body matters just as much as what you put in it. Our Natural Hair & Body Care department offers safer, cleaner alternatives to conventional personal care products.
We carefully select items made with natural and organic ingredients, avoiding harsh chemicals, synthetic fragrances, and unnecessary additives commonly found in traditional products. Our shelves include everything from skincare and haircare to oral hygiene, cosmetics, and aromatherapy. Many of our products are also cruelty-free, environmentally friendly, and suitable for sensitive skin.
Whether you’re making a full transition to clean body care or just starting to explore some other options, this department makes it easy to build a routine you feel good about.
Eco-Friendly Home Essentials
Our Eco-Friendly Home Essentials department focuses on everyday products for your home, with an emphasis on thoughtful sourcing and practical alternatives.
You’ll find a range of household cleaning supplies, paper goods, and other daily-use items made with more sustainable materials. This includes bath tissue, paper towels, facial tissue, coffee filters, baking cups, and parchment paper, along with candles and reusable options like silicone storage bags and stainless steel water bottles.
Bulk Department
The bulk food section is full of whole grain foods that are minimally packaged and labeled in our facility. Here are the types of bulk products we carry:

You can find specialty items like farro, millet, turbinado sugar, gluten free flour, nutritional yeast, cacao nibs, loose rooibos tea, and peppercorns in our bulk sections – just to name a few things.
Spices and Herbs
All three of our locations stock a variety of organic bulk spices and herbs. Whether you’re looking to restock your spice cabinet or get just enough for a certain recipe, we’ve got you covered. Bulk spice jars found at our Grand Haven and North Muskegon locations allow you to purchase your desired volume. Bulk spice bags are provided for customer use and spice jars are available for purchase.
If you would like to shop to minimize waste or strive for zero-waste, feel free to bring your own containers. Each store has a scale at which you can weigh your containers before adding spices. If you would like to order whole bags of bulk commodities, we can special order these for you.
Frontier Herbs is our wholesaler for bulk spices. These products must be grown on land that has not had synthetic fertilizers, growth regulators, insecticides, or herbicides applied to it for a minimum of three years. This is one of many conditions that must be met by organic growers and manufacturers in order to meet the federal government standards for organic certification.
Grocery
Shop with confidence that grocery items on our shelves are natural and free of common artificial food additives. Our grocery includes regular staples like flour, grain, noodles, bread, crackers, canned goods, peanut butter, jam, boxed tea; snacks including chips, cookies, chocolate bars, and food bars. We stock a large variety of items – options for every healthy lifestyle can be found in every aisle of our stores: organic, gluten free, dairy free, whole food, plant based, vegetarian, vegan, keto, paleo.
We carry only the highest quality products and specialty items. If we don’t have what you are looking for on our shelves, we can special order it for you!
We also carry a variety of local and regional products such as Laughing Tree Bakery breads, Naturally Nutty butters, Hilhof Farm dairy, Sleep Bear Farms honey, Lively Up Kombucha and Higher Grounds coffee. Check out this map of the Michigan Brands we carry.
Throughout our stores you’ll also find certifications on products such as Non-GMO, Fair Trade, rBGH/rBST-free, Rainforest Alliance, Certified Humane Raised & Handled, Orangutang Friendly, Carbon Neutral, B Corporation.
